Compares to Interlux Micron Extra, Micron 66 and Pettit Ultima SR in quality, performance and top-coat compatibility.
Copper Pro™ 67 SCX provides extended antifouling protection against barnacles, algae and hydroids in salt and fresh water on boat bottoms. Its ablative copolymer base renders a smooth finish with durability and abrasion resistance. The added SCX™, Slime Control Xtra, acts like a sunscreen to prevent slime and algae from attaching to the hull, which further enhances the effectiveness of the copper biocides. Because of the ablative (polishing) nature of Copper Pro 67 SCX, a constant exposure of new paint film to the water releases biocide maintaining the coating’s resistance to barnacles even after being on the hard for extended periods of time.
Copper Pro SCX 67 has universal application over all types of properly prepared bottom paints. Additional applications beyond the standard recommendation will extend the service life of the coating since service life is proportional to coating thickness for ablative paints.
For use on all vessel types including fast and trawling fiberglass boats, as well as wood and steel hulls (not for aluminum hulls and sterndrives).
Covers 300 to 400 square feet per gallon.
